Clara M. Pope

Mrs. Clara M. Pope, age 82, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019 at Lighthouse Personal Care Home in Madden, MS. Visitation will be held Wednesday February 20, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday February 21, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:50 a.m. at Cash Baptist Church, Lena, MS. Funeral Services will be held Thursday February 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cash Baptist Church in Lena, MS with Bro. M. L. Wallace and Bro. Jim Savell officiating. Burial will follow in the Cash Baptist Church Cemetery in Lena. There will be no graveside services.
Mrs. Pope lived most of her life in the Cash Community in Scott County. She was a member of the Cash Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and cooking for them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Lee Pope. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy White (Brian) of Trenton, TN; two sons, Edwin Pope (Linda) of Lena, MS, Barry Pope (Donna) of Carthage, MS; eight Grandchildren, eighteen Great Grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Danny Weaver, Pres Foster, Nic Pope, Kody White, Mitchell Weaver, and Lee Pope.
