Edd Hershell "Toby" Porter

Mr. Edd Hershell Porter, age73, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Merit Health in Brandon, MS. Visitation will held on Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM and Friday, September 9, 2022 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Services will take place at 10:00 AM all at Two Mile Baptist Church in Morton, MS. Burial will follow at Two Mile Baptist Cemetery in Morton, MS. Bro Joe Crane and Bro. T.J. Porter will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
Edd was born to Ellis Porter and Adeal Wilkerson Porter on August 31, 1949, in Rankin County, MS. He was a lifelong resident of Morton, MS. Edd was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
Edd is preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Adeal Porter; three sisters, Peggy Jewel Porter, Maxine Martin and Mella Porter, brother, McArthur Porter. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Porter of Morton, MS; daughter, Addeal Giles (Rickey) of Morton, MS; son, T.J. Porter (Amanda) of Morton, MS; sister, Betty Tanner of Tuscaloosa, AL; brother, William Porter (Terri) of Morton, MS; two grandchildren, Hallie Grace Porter and Tanner Porter and a number of nieces, nephews and other family.
Pallbearers will be Alex Morado, Zac Porter, Scott Herrod, Cole Crawford, C.J. Jones and Mike Frazier.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeffery Goss, Roger Goss and Ernie Ezelle.
