Mary Alice Porter
Mary Alice Porter, 75, a resident of Morton, MS passed away January 20, 2013 at Scott Regional Hospital. Visitation will be held at East Morton Baptist Church, Morton, MS Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 5:30 pm until service time at the church on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Burial will be at East Morton Baptist Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Kenny Lang and Bro Ricky Watkins. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Porter was a lifelong resident of Clifton, MS and she was a member of East Morton Baptist Church in Morton, MS. She loved to sew.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Porter; mother Louise Porter; sister, Wanza Sanderford; brother, James Porter; daughter, Vanessa Burnham.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol Stokley of Morton, MS; and Michelle Richardson and husband David of Forest, MS; nine grandchildren, Natalie Moore, Dana Harrell, Tanya Graves, Brian Harrell, Corey Harrell, Tahnee Jones, Brandon Wooten, Shea Wooten and Brittany Stout; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bob Alford, Alton Gammage, Stephen Smith, Stephen Pierre, Chris Liner, and David Wade.
