Elsie Posey

Elsie Mae Posey, age 72, passed away on Wednesday March 2, 2016 in Magee, MS. Visitation was held on Thursday March 3, 2016 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral Services were held on Friday March 4, 2016 at 2:00pm in the Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Lake, MS. Burial followed in the Sulphur Springs Baptist Cemetery. Officiating was Bro. Kent Grice and Bro. Randall Creel. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Posey had lived in Forest, MS for the past four years, formerly of Lake, MS, where she lived most of her life. She was a member of the Hazel Baptist Church in Lake, MS. She loved cooking and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Posey was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Bertha Abel; one sister, Barbara Ellison; four brothers, Deward Abel, J.R. Abel, Jerry Abel, and Jessie Abel. She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Posey of Forest, MS; one son, Donnie Posey and wife Lynn of Lake, MS; two brothers, Bill Abel of Sebastopol, MS and Clayton Abel of Pulaski, MS; one sister, Inez Thrash of Sebastopol, MS; three grandchildren; Andy Posey, Brett Posey, and Mason Posey; four great grandchildren, Andrew Posey, Emma Posey, Jase Posey and Jewel Posey; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Pallbearers were Andy Posey, Brett Posey, Mason Posey, Johnny Posey, Josh Abel, and Danny Thrash.
