Jerry Leon Purvis

Mr. Jerry Leon Purvis age 66, passed away Sunday July 19th 2020 at his residence in Brandon, MS. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday July 21, 2020 at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS. Reverend Steve Wilson and Brother Curtis Carter will officiate.
Mr. Purvis was a lifelong resident of Rankin County, MS. He was a member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church in Brandon, MS and he was an avid outdoors-man. He retired from Sears/Discover Card and the Army Reserve after 20 years of faithful service to our country.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Lora Purvis; son, Jeffrey Purvis; brothers, Eugene and Wilson Purvis. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ellen Purvis; sister, JoAnn Phillips (David) of Polkville, David (Beth) Purvis of Pearl, MS.
