Fredrick "Freddy" Reeves Sr.

Fredrick Wayne “Freddy” Reeves, Sr. age 60 a resident of Morton passed away on Monday February 10, 2014 at his residence. Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 11, 2014 from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday February 12, 2014 from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday February 13, 2014 at 12 Noon in the chapel of Wolf Funeral Services. Burial will follow in the McDonald Cemetery in Lena, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Paul Smith. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Reeves was a lifelong resident of the Branch Community and was a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church of Morton, MS. He loved collecting and restoring old trucks and woodworking. He was a member of the IBEWLU903 and was an operator for Wilson Construction.
Freddy was preceded in death by three infant sons and one son, Matthew Jason Reeves, Sr.; granddaughter, Rebecca Dawn Harris and parents, Aaron A. and Eva Reeves. He is survived by his wife, Martha Elizabeth Reeves of Morton, MS.; one son, Fredrick Reeves, Jr. and wife Nicole of Elkhart, KS.; one daughter Jessica E. Harris and husband Bob of Morton, MS.; two sisters Billie Norwood of Pelahatchie, MS.; Pennie Russell of Alabama; three brothers, Danny Reeves and wife Faye of Morton, MS.; Ricky Reeves and wife Nancy of Lake, MS.; Roy Reeves and wife Wanda of Morton, MS.; twelve grandchildren, Kyle, Landon, Tyler, Wyatt, Lilly, Bella, Matthew Jason Jr., Destini, Earnest, Robert, William and Shelby, a number of nieces and nephews.
