Mr. Toby Benson Reid, 40, of Forest, MS, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Pulaski, MS. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 outside under the portico of Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS from 1:30PM until the 2:00PM Funeral Service. Per MSDH guidelines, masks are required and social distancing should be observed.
Toby was born to Wanda Massey and David Benson Reid on October 30, 1980 in Hinds County, MS. He lived most of his life in Scott County with the exception of three years he lived in Rankin County. Toby was of the Pentecostal faith and was a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Newton, MS. He loved football and was the starting quarterback for the Scott Central Rebels in the 1996-1997 season. Toby was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, spend time with his son and help anyone in need.
Toby is preceded in death by an aunt, Goldie Ann Reid and a cousin, Melissa Reid. He is survived by his wife Natalie of Pearl, MS; his father David Benson (Heather) Reid of Forest, MS; his mother, Wanda Massey of Morton, MS; his son, Revin Levi Reid of Forest, MS; step children Christopher and Zoey of Peral, MS; his sister, Daphne Reid of Morton, MS; his brother, Christopher Reid of Morton, MS; paternal grandparents, Thomas D. Reid of Forest, MS and Merdis Sue McWilliams Reid of Pearl, MS; maternal grandmother, Juanice Massey of Forest, MS and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
