Mary Marie Rhinewalt
Mary Marie Rhinewalt, 81, a resident of Lena, MS passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. There will be a visitation at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Monday, April 01, 2013 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm, and on Tuesday, April 02, 2013 from 9:30 until 10:45 am. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 02, 2013 at 11:00 am in the chapel with burial following in the Old Cash Cemetery in Lena, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Floyd Steverson, and Rev. Dave Quarles. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rhinewalt had lived in Lena, MS for the past 15 years, moving from Jackson, MS where she had lived for over 42 years. She was a member of Eureka Baptist Church in Sandhill, MS. She had worked as a dietician with the Jackson Public Schools since 1964, retiring in 1998. She was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Jeslyn Lyle; one son, Michael Rhinewalt; one daughter, Paula Nazary.
She is survived by her husband, Paul K. Rhinewalt of Lena, MS; one son, Cecil Rhinewalt of Lena, MS; one son-in-law, Ray Nazary of Pelahatchie, MS; one sister, Eloise Brown of Lena, MS; one brother, Jimmy Floy Lyle of Pearl, MS; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Rhinewalt, Billy Tom Ward, Davey Lyle, Scott Brown, Ray Nazary, and Gary Hawkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Buzz Shoemaker and Rodney Torrence, and Glenn Stewart.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Hospice Ministries, Eloise Brown, Phyllis Irby, and Tori Gaar for taking special care of Marie.
