Henry Prentiss Risher

Henry Prentiss Risher, 71, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021, at Scott Regional Hospital in Morton, MS. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, from 10:00 AM until 10:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. His funeral service will be on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Burial will follow at Faulkner Cemetery in Pulaski, MS. Wolf Funeral Services is in charge of the arrangements.

Henry was born on August 4, 1950, to the late Evelyn Moorehead Risher Henry Jones Risher. He was a lifelong resident of Scott County. Henry was Baptist by faith and was a member of Pulaski Baptist Church. He loved Mississippi State Football, his Kubota Tractor, cutting grass and weed eating. Henry was kind-hearted and was known to help people in need.

Henry is preceded in death by his wife, Billie Faye Baker Risher; his parents, Evelyn and Henry Risher; brothers, John and Pete Risher and sisters, Cheryl Marler and Ann Johnson. He is survived by his daughter, Mandi Risher Tagert; son, JJ Risher (Angela); sisters, Ruth Weems, Gaynelle Countryman and Pam Pope (Randy); brother, Larry Risher; grandchildren, Madison Jones (Tommy), Bentley Tagert and Annie Risher and great granddaughter, Joyanna Jones.

Pallbearers will be Lynn Risher, Wesley Risher, Ronnie Risher, Michael Risher, Michael Phillips and Peyton Rogers. Honorary Pallbearers are Logan Mapp and Cameron Mapp.
