Rita Faye Richardson

Rita Faye Richardson, age 77, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Meritt Health in Flowood, MS.  Her visitation will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS.  Her services will take place at 12:00 PM in our Funeral Home Chapel.  Her burial will follow at Morton Memorial Gardens in Morton, MS.  Bro. T. J. Porter will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services. 

Rita Faye was born to Levi Allen and Jessie Mae Bowman on July 10, 1946, in Rankin County, MS.  She was a lifelong resident of Morton, MS.  Rita Faye loved spending time with her family and friends and her dogs.   

Rita Faye was preceded in death by her two sons, Robert and Ricky Richardson; one grandson, Klennon Daniel Stephens; her parents, Levi and Jessie Mae Allen; her three brothers, John Allen, Jimmy Allen and Gilbert Allen and one sister, Ruby Richardson.  She is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Robert Richardson of Morton, MS; her two daughters, Sandra Richardson and Brenda Gunn both of Morton, MS; her sister, Linda Sheppard of Brandon, MS; her brother, Mike Allen of Morton, MS; her four grandchildren; her nine great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. 

Pallbearers will be Chris Jordan, Donavon Reddin, David Reid, Frank Allen, C.J. Denton and Richard Herrod.
