Roshea Rodriguez McCoy, Jr

Roshea Rodriguez McCoy, Jr., age 16, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024, in Pelahatchie, MS. His visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM and Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 1:45 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. His services will take place in our Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM. His burial will follow at Green Leaf M. B. Cemetery in Lena, MS. Rev. Perry Fletcher will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services. 

Roshea was born on April 21, 2008, to Roshea McCoy, Sr. and Nicole Boyd in Hinds County, MS. He was a lifelong resident of Pelahatchie, MS. He was a member of Greater Friendship in Brandon, MS. Roshea was a 10th grade student at Pelahatchie High School where he enjoyed playing football and powerlifting and was a member of the JROTC. At the time of his death he was working at Whataburger in Brandon. He loved riding horses, 4-wheelers and doing mechanic work. 

Roshea was preceded in death by his grandparents, Shirley Jean Boyd and Willie McClendon and Gloria McCoy; his aunt, Raven McCoy. He is survived by his father, Roshea Mccoy, Sr. of Brandon, MS; his mother, Nicole Roberts (Ricko) of Pelahatchie, MS; Maternal grandfather, Barry Banks of Ludlow, MS; Maternal grandmother, Climmie Banks of Pelahatchie, MS; Maternal grandfather, Walter Lee McCoy of Brandon, MS; his three sisters, Jaleaeh Ford of Pelahatchie, MS, Nakiah Roberts of Newton, MS and Tykevia Lyles of Sandhill, MS; his four brothers, Baylee Hughes of Ludlow, MS, Iverson Bowie of Ludlow, MS, Shirrone Hudges of Pelahatchie, MS and Jarius Boatman of Morton, MS.
