Christine Rowell

Christine Stokes Rowell, age 85 a resident of Lake, MS passed away on Saturday May 9, 2015 at her daughter’s home in Forest, MS. Visitation will be held on Monday May 11, 2015 from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday May 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Pine Ridge Baptist Church in Lawrence, MS. Burial will follow in the Pine Ridge Baptist Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Laird and Rev. Victor Bugg. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS will be in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Rowell had been a lifelong resident of the Pine Ridge Community and she was a member of the Pine Ridge Baptist Church in Lawrence. MS.
Mrs. Rowell is preceded in death by her husband, James Rowell; grandsons, Adam Bryant and Lous Foley III; five brothers, Lamar, Jack, Carl, Thurman and Howell Stokes. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Wallace and husband George of Forest, MS, Patricia Waller and husband Terry of Philadelphia, MS; one son, Kenneth Rowell and wife Charlotte of Lake, MS; twin sister, Imogene Bailey of Little Rock, MS; sister, Linda Rogers of Monticello, MS; two sisters-n-law, Carolyn Stokes and Myrtice Stokes; six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Aaron Bryant, Noah Bryant, Scott Wheeler, Michael Wheeler, John Thrash, Austin Rowell and Teddy Stokes. Honorary pallbearer is Michelle Bryant McDavitt.
