Melinda Michelle Rowell

Melinda Michelle Rowell, 51, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2021, at her home in Forest, MS. She was born on August 4, 1970, to Johnny Ray Martin, Sr. and Barbara Ruth Neese. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM with services to follow at 3:00 PM all taking place at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS.

Melinda was a lifelong resident of Forest, MS. She was Baptist by faith. She loved her family, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, doing crafts and cooking.

Melinda is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Barbara Martin; step sister, Regina Blackwell; step brother Dale Wilkerson; step father, Dan Wilkerson. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Rowell of Forest, MS; two children, Triston Jones of Lena, MS and Joshua Ellingburg of Lake, MS; three step children, Austin J. Rowell of House, MS, Brittany Rowell of Lake, MS, and Bethany Ann Moseley of Meridian, MS; one sister, Beverly Hawkins of Lake, MS; one brother, Johnny Ray Martin, Jr. of Lake, MS; step siblings, James Wilkerson of Lake, MS, Ray Wilkerson of Lake, MS, Tracie Wilkerson of Lake, MS; 11 grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
