Patricia Ann Watkins Rowell, 63, a resident of Lake passed away on Saturday, January 05, 2013 at Anderson Hospital in Meridian, MS. Visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS on Monday, January 07, 2013 from 5:30 until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday, January 08, 2013 from 11:00 am until 12:45 pm at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 08, 2013 in the chapel at 1:00 pm with burial following in Ephesus Baptist Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Laird and Rev. Victor Bugg. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake will be in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rowell had lived in the Lake-Lawrence Area of Newton County for the past forty years and was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church in Lawrence, MS. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and consoling people who were ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Austin and Annie Lois Watkins; one brother, Buddy Watkins; and one sister, Evelyn Gould.
She is survived by her husband of forty two years, Kenneth Rowell of Lake, MS; one son, Kenneth J. “Bo” Rowell and wife Melissa of Meridian, MS; one sister, Betty Dobbs of Newton, MS; three brothers, Travis Watkins of Lake, MS; Cecil “Shot” Watkins of Louisiana; Billy Watkins of Newton, MS; five grandchildren, Austin J. Rowell, Jon Corey Graham, Matthew Graham, Brittany Rowell, and Bethany Rowell; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Dobbs, Ray Dobbs, Prentiss Bounds, Mickey McMillan, Delbert Walton, Chris Nutt, Chris Thompson, and Charles Thompson.
