Ruby Catherine Aycock

Ruby Catherine Aycock, age 87, passed away on Thursday January 9, 2025, in Carthage, MS. Her visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Her services will take place at Macedonia Methodist Cemetery at 11:00 AM. Bro Kenny Lang will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services. 

Ruby was born to Will Maner and Florence Langford on May 28, 1937, in Madden , MS. She had lived in Scott County, MS for over thirty years. Ruby was a member of Clifton Baptist Church in Morton, MS. She loved sewing and grooming dogs. She was a good cook and caregiver. Ruby enjoyed going to church and listening to Country and Gospel music and she loved family gatherings. 

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Aycock; her parents, Will and Florence Maner; her son, Bobby Gerald Brantley, her daughter, Belinda Gail May and five of her siblings.

She is survived by her three children, Larry Brantley (Letha) of Harperville, MS, Pam Trippe (George) of Lena, MS, and Mike Brantley (Dienne) of Lorena, MS; her sister, Mrytle Long of Ridgeland, MS; her brother, William George Maner of Ridgeland, MS; her eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Charles Ray Brantley, Derrick Scott Moss, Larry Daniel May, Coty May, Caleb May and Mason Atkinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Wade May and Landrey Wilkerson.
