Terrel Ryals, 30, a resident of Brandon passed away Friday, September 16, 2011 due to an ATV accident on Stump Ridge Rd., Brandon, MS. Visitation was held at Polkville United Pentecostal Church, Polkville, MS on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm and Wednesday, September 21, 2011 from 9:00 am until service time. The funeral service was at 2:00 pm at the church, with burial following in the Polkville United Pentecostal Church Cemetery. Officiating was Bro. Baron Price and Bro. Jeremy Price. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Terrel had lived most of his adult life in Florida and had been a resident of Pisgah, MS for one year and he was of the Pentecostal faith. He loved photography and his dream was to become a firefighter, fulfilling that dream one and one half years ago when he became a firefighter in Oregon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Terrel Ryals; one niece, Krystal Hope Hutson.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Carney of Morton, MS; six sisters, Chrystelle Thames of Clinton, MS; Nannette Blansett of Ypsilanti, MI; Jennifer Crabtree of Melbourne, FL; Marsha Meadows of Pisgah, MS, Gail Morado and Sarah Land both of Morton, MS; seven brothers, William Land of Houma, LA; Jack Land of Pueblo, CO; John Land and David Land of Pisgah, MS; Daniel Land of Melbourne, FL; Paul Land of Richland, MS; Ian Ryals of Warner Robins, GA; a number of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were William Land, John Land, David Land, Paul Land, Daniel Land, Ian Ryals. Honorary pallbearers were Jack Land, Tony Lockhart, Dustin Shoemaker, Sonny Clark, Devin Clark, Ricky Lockhart and Dwayne Till.
