Martha Jean Sessions

Mrs. Martha Jean Sessions, age 71, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019 at Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest, MS. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from, 5:00PM until 7:00PM and Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 1:30PM until 2:20PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 3:00PM at Salem Baptist Church in Lake, MS with Rev. Larry Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Baptist Cemetery, Lake, MS. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Sessions was a lifelong resident of the Ringgold Community in Scott County, MS. She was Baptist in faith, a member of the Salem Baptist Church in Lake, MS where she served as a Sunday school teacher and sang in the choir. She loved antiquing, taking road trips, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved visiting the elderly. She retired in 2018 from Raytheon after 34 years old service.
She is preceded in death by her husband Grady Sessions; her brother, Ronnie Culpeper; her parents George and Katie Culpepper. She is survived by one daughter, Tammy Grace of Forest, MS; one son, Tony Sessions (Kim) of Forest, MS; her six grandchildren, Adam, Alex, Seth, Katie, Laken, and Noah; her three great grandchildren, Adeline, Grady, and Bellamy; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Butch Hollingsworth, Brad Smith, Kiley Culpepper, Trey Tune, Michael Harrison, and Jimmy Yarbrough. Honorary Pallbearers are Adam Grace, Alex Grace, Seth Grace, Katie Grace, Laken Thornton, and Noah Thornton.
