Charles Ray Smith

Charles Ray Smith, 47, a resident of Forest, MS passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. A visitation and memorial service will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Saturday, March 16, 2013. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 1:45 pm and the memorial service will be at 2:00 pm in the chapel. Burial will be in Antioch-Steele Cemetery at a later date. Officiating will be Elder George Gardner. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Charles was a lifelong resident of Forest, MS and was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid NASCAR fan and love gardening. He loved his little dog “Rocky”.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Travis Hodges. He is survived by his mother, Patsy Hodges of Forest, MS; his maternal grandmother, Marie Killen Brown of Forest, MS; brother, David Alexander and wife Tracy of Lake, MS; sister, Tammy Jackson and husband Scott of Wetumpka, AL; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Class of 1984 at Mississippi School for the Deaf.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gideons International.
