Nancy Ann Smith
Nancy Ann Smith, 81, a resident of Morton, MS passed away Monday, June 10, 2013 at her residence in Morton, MS. Visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 5:30 until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 12:00 until 1:45 pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Scott Mangum. Wolf Funeral Services will be in charge of arrangements.
Nancy had lived in Mississippi for most of her life and was a member of Lifespring Church in Morton, MS. She was an avid bowler and a member of the Thursday Morning Seniors Bowling League. As a military wife, she was able to travel to many places around the world including Germany and Japan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles T. Smith; daughter, Cathy Lynn Parr; grandson, Johnny A. Sours, Jr.; granddaughter, Michelle R. Sours.
She is survived by six daughters, Linda Meadows of Seven Springs, NC; Yvonne Cole of Grey, MA; Sam Mechell of Brandon, MS; Joanie Jones of Morton, MS; Sandra McFalls of Frezno, CA; Pam Hubbard of Brandon, MS; one son, Lloyd Scheidler of Brandon, MS; honorary daughter, Joyce Carthan of Seven Springs, NC; twenty three grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 731 S. Pear Orchard Rd., Ridgeland, MS 39157.
