Danny Stephens

Mr. Danny Eugene Stephens, age 55, of Lawrence, MS, passed away on Friday August 12, 2016 at the Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, MS. Visitation will be held on Monday August 15, 2016 from 5:30PM until 8:00PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday August 16, 2016 at 2:00PM at the Pine Ridge Baptist Church in Lawrence, MS. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Larry Laird. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Stephens was a lifelong resident of Newton County, MS and was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church in Lawrence, MS. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and farming. He was a dedicated worker with the ESCO Corp. for thirty-seven years, spending the past twenty years with them as a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Hope Thomas. He is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Karen Renee Stephens of Lawrence, MS; parents, Robert and Jeannette of Lawrence, MS; three daughters, Rachel Thomas (Lazarius) of Brandon, MS, Beth Stephens of Lawrence, MS, and Grace Stephens of Lawrence, MS; one son, Matthew Stephens of Lawrence, MS; one brother, Travis Stephens (Deborah) of Lawrence, MS; one sister, Lisa Luke (Perry) of Union, MS; five grandchildren, Gavin Stephens, Zoe Stephens, Levi Stephens, Nevaeh Thomas, and Malachi Thomas; five nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Barnett, Jack Parker, Danny Wayne Parker, Chris Morgan, Mike Shelton, and David Cleveland. Honorary Pallbearers will be Roger Stephens and Eddie Hill.
