Roger Stephens

Mr. Roger Joseph Stephens, age 53, passed away on Tuesday December 12, 2017 at the St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Friday December 15, 2017 from 1:00PM until 2:20PM at Pine Ridge Baptist Church in Lawrence, MS. Funeral Services will follow at 2:30PM in the church with Rev. Allen Stephens officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery; there will be no graveside services. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Stephens had lived in Brandon, MS for the past twenty years and was a member of the Flag Chapel Baptist Church in Jackson, MS. He was an avid pool player and loved watching football, working on cars, and racing cars.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Stephens. He is survived by his wife, Veronica Stephens of Brandon, MS; his mother, Linda Smith of Monticello, MS; his father, Larry Stephens (Faye) of Kosciusko, MS; three sisters, Donna Price (Johnny) of Columbus, MS, Karen Sandridge (Keith) of Raymond, MS, and Sharon Watson (Dr. Curt) of Monticello, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Sandridge, Guy Sandridge, Mike Stephens, Rhett Culpepper, Travis Stephens, and Teddy Stokes. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joey Navarro, Will Watson, and Matt Stephens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to: Pine Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
