Mildred Stone, 96, a resident of Forest, MS passed away Sunday, December 01, 2013 at her residence. Visitation was held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton,MS on Tuesday December 3, 2013 from 5:30PM until 8:00PM and on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 8:30AM until 9:45AM. Funeral Services followed at 10:30 in the chapel of Wolf Funeral Services. Burial was in the Clifton Baptist Church Cemetery in Forest,MS. Officiating was Bro. Billy Henry, Bro. Andy Boles, and Bro. Carl Rigby. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton,MS was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Stone was a lifetime resident of the Clifton Community. She was a member of the Clifton Baptist Church .
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Cora Noel of Forest,MS.; husband, Garvin Stone in 2001; and son, Huey Stone of Lake,MS.; in 2013. She is survived by one daughter, Jonnie DeBoxtel of Forest,MS.; one daughter-n-law, Yvonne Stone of Lake,MS.; two sisters, Maggie Minor of Houston,TX.; Willie Taylor of Florence,MS.; one brother, Buron Noel of Biloxi,MS.; three grandchildren, Bobby Thrash and wife Cindy, Sheila East, Michael Stone and wife Ann; six great grandchildren, Tommy Thrash and wife Mandy, Amber Cooksey and husband Donovan, Billie Colbert, Allison Colbert, Katherin Colbert, and Kirkland Colbert; four great-great grandchildren, John David Thrash, Tyler Thrash, Victoria Thrash, and Brody Cooksey; care giver and friend, Mae Alice Hughes.
