Dora Swanson

Dora Nell Swanson age 75, and a resident of Pittsboro, MS. passed away on March 13, 2014 at her home. Visitation was held on Saturday March 15, 2014 from 12 Noon until 1:45 PM at Wolf Funeral Services. Graveside services were held on Saturday March 15, 2014 at 2:30 PM at Macedonia New Testament Cemetery in Forest MS. Officiating was Rev. Carl Rigby. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton MS was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Dora had been a resident of Pittsboro, MS.; since 2002 formerly living in Foley, AL. She was a member of the Macedonia New Testament Church and also a member of the American Hemerocallis Society.
Mrs. Swanson is preceded in death by her parents, J.W. Aycock and Mary Aycock, two brothers, Travis Aycock, and James Robert Aycock, one sister, Kate Moore. She is survived by her husband, A.C. Swanson of Pittsboro, MS.; five children, Becky King and husband Dale of Forest, MS.; Darlene Lindsey and husband Larry of Bridgeport, TX.; Roger Swanson and wife Karen of Pittsboro, MS.; Mickey Swanson and wife Janet of Houston, MS.; Teresa Smith of Houston, MS.; three sisters, Jean Rigby of Forest, MS.; Bernice Harrell of Clifton, MS.; Sue May and husband Fred of Forkville, MS.; brother-n-law, Earl Swanson and wife Barbara, sister-n-law, Bobbie Sue Swanson and husband Steve, twelve grandchildren, Renea, Dwayne, Sam, Marie, Andy, Brandon, Tye, Hannah Beth, Robert Dale, Delishia, David, and Rudy, twenty four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Robert Dale King, Sam Taylor, Dwayne Taylor, Patrick Holmes, David Shepard, and C.J. Martin.
