Twyla Sykes
July 1, 1954 — January 5, 2018
On January 5th, 2018 Gail Greer Sykes affectionately known as "MS Gail" got her final promotion and went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She was born on July 1st, 1954, the youngest of two daughters born to Marcel and Mary Nell Greer. She grew up in the Jackson area graduating from Forest Hill High School.
Being the director of First Baptist Church Ridgeland daycare until her declining health caused her to retire, she touched the lives of many with her loving and caring spirit. The parents, children, and coworkers were so much more than just a job. She considered them family. Everybody loved MS Gail.
The sunshine of her life were her sons, Cameron Wade Sykes, Shelby Ryan Sykes, soon to be daughter-in-law Kayla Phipps and her precious fur babies Bo & Mya. Also, surviving her is her sister Glenda (Larry) Paradise, niece Leslie, nephew Dustin and great nephew Marley.
Preceding her in death are her beloved parents, Marcel and Mary Nell Greer.
A true lady with a big heart, you will be deeply missed!
Services will be held on Tuesday, January 9th, 2018 at Trace Ridge Baptist Church in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be held at 2:00 pm, with the memorial service following at 3:00 pm.
