Patricia Ann Tadlock

Mrs. Patricia Ann Tadlock age 75, passed away Saturday December 12, 2020 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. A graveside service will be held at Sims Hill Cemetery in Morton, MS on Tuesday December 15, 2020 at 3:00PM Brother Don Lum will officiate. Wolf Funeral Services will be in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Tadlock was a lifelong resident of Morton, MS. She was Baptist by faith and a member of First Baptist Church of Morton, MS. She spent years teaching twirling and dancing in Scott County. She was owner and managing editor of The Homemaker Newspaper in Morton, MS. She was featured on the cover of Woman’s Magazine for her work on the paper. After becoming disabled, she provided private childcare in her home for friends of the family and was active in supporting her church and her community.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Huey and Nell Russell Thompson Carr.
She is survived by her husband of fifty seven years, Roger Dale Tadlock; two children, Dale (Laura) Tadlock of Birmingham, AL, Andy (Deloris) Tadlock of Clinton, MS; siblings, Paul Thompson of Pelahatchie, MS; Donna Vanhyning of Florence, MS, Janet Thompson of Castle Pines, CO; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
