James "Buckus" Taylor

Mr. James “Buckus” Taylor age 49, a resident of Lake, MS. passed away on Friday June 20, 2014 at his home. Visitation will be held on Saturday June 21, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Sunday June 22, 2014 from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday June 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Burial will be in the Dennis Cemetery in Lake, MS. Officiating will be Rev. James McMillan and Rev. Kent Grice. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. will be in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Taylor was a lifelong resident of Lake, MS. He was a member of the Goodhope Baptist Church in Lake, MS. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed attending and supporting his children in their sporting activities. He was the owner of James Taylor Used Cars & Trucks. He loved the outdoors and farming.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Morgan Taylor of Lake, MS.; parents, Mardis & Betty Taylor of Lake, MS.; four daughters, Allison McDaniel and husband Grant of Lake, MS., Jamey Anthony and husband Jay of Pelahatchie, MS., Juley Steed and husband Shannon of Mendenhall, MS., Alyssa Jaymes Taylor of Lake, MS., two sons, Garrett Taylor of Lake, MS. and Daniel Taylor of Lake, MS.; one sister, Lynn Posey and husband Donnie of Lake, MS.; one brother, Brian Taylor of Lake, MS.; four grandchildren, Stella Steed, Hayven Steed, Hudson Anthony, Hollis McDaniel and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Rob Taylor, Keith Taylor, Michael Hollingsworth, Jessie Paul Harrison, Gerald Kelly, Pepper Culpepper.
