Terry Wayne Windham, a beloved member of his family and community, passed away on February 23, 2025, at UMMC in Jackson, Mississippi, at the age of 70. Born on December 10, 1954, in Scott County, Mississippi, Terry lived a life marked by passion, love, and a deep connection to both his heritage and his family.
He was a devoted member of Luther Chapel Lutheran Church in Pulaski, MS, where he found not only spiritual sustenance but also a community that appreciated his warm spirit and dedication. Terry’s interests included raising chickens and ducks, which he approached with great enthusiasm. He had a profound love for the outdoors, evidenced by his passion for rabbit hunting. These hobbies brought him closer to nature and provided joyful moments spent with family and friends.
Terry leaves behind a caring family that includes his daughter, Tina White (Wade) of Forest, MS, and two sons, J. R. and Joey Windham, (Traci) both of Forest, MS. His legacy continues through his loving grandson, Little Wade White. Terry is also survived by three beloved brothers: Jack Windham of Homewood, MS; Ronald Windham of Pearl, MS; and Sammy Windham of Madden, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Alesye Windham, as well as two brothers, Billy and Tommy Windham, and one sister, Brenda McGee. The memories of Terry will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A funeral service to celebrate Terry's life will be held on February 26, 2025, at Luther Chapel Lutheran Church in Pulaski, MS. Friends and family are invited to gather from 2:00 PM to honor and remember a wonderful man whose spirit touched so many lives.
