Thomas L. Wilkerson

Thomas L. Wilkerson, aged 75, passed away on March 25, 2025, in Lake, Mississippi. Born on March 5, 1950, in Newton County, Mississippi, Thomas moved from Conehatta, MS, to Lake, MS, where he spent most of his life.

Throughout his life, Thomas demonstrated a profound love for music, particularly enjoying playing the guitar. He had a passion for fishing in his earlier years, indulging in the serene pastime that brought him joy. Professionally, he dedicated several years of service as a truck driver with Harmon Trucking, a career that allowed him to explore the roads while providing for his family.

Thomas was deeply devoted to his family, who reciprocated his love in abundance. He is survived by his sister, Annie Lou Crocker of Lake, MS, along with a host of nieces and nephews who will carry on his legacy in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, R. T. and Annie Ruth Wilkerson; two brothers, Jerry and Austin Wilkerson; and one sister, Donna Clark.

Visitation for Thomas L. Wilkerson will be held on March 28, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Wolf Funeral Services - Lake, located at 136 Front Street, Lake, MS. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at Dennis Cemetery at 2:00 PM. Bro. Victor Bugg will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.

Pallbearers will be Jason Wilkerson, Brandon Harmon, Shannon Harmon, Spence Morehead, David Morehead, Benjy Morehead, William Holland, and Shaun Hines.

Thomas L. Wilkerson will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, and his memory will endure through the stories shared by his family and friends.
