Chris Traxler

Chris Traxler, 58, a resident of Polkville, MS passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at MS Baptist Medical Center. Visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 from 5:00 until 9:00 pm and on Thursday, July, 18.2013 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm. Graveside services and burial will be Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Polkville First Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Officiating will be Rev. Doyle Boyles. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Chris had lived in Polkville, MS for the past thirty five years and was a member of Polkville First Baptist Church. He loved church and was an assistant Sunday School Teacher. Chris was a member of The Backwoods Boggerz Mud Riding Club.
He is survived by his parents, Ernest and Mary Traxler of Polkville, MS; brother, Jeff Traxler of Polkville, MS ; two nephews, Eric Traxler and wife Morgan of Polkville, MS; Stephen Traxler and wife Kayla of Polkville, MS; one great nephew, Austin Traxler of Polkville, MS; his constant companion and Bassett Hound, Harley.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Traxler, Eric Traxler, Stephen Traxler, Ricky Parker, Ricky Myers, Randy Lee, and David Traxler, Jr.. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Bradshaw, Garland Huff and Alton Banes.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1380 Livingston Lane, Jackson, MS 39213.
