Mr. Joey Houston Trest age 63, passed away Sunday October 25, 2020 at UMMC in Jackson, MS. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday October 28, 2020 at Ludlow Cemetery in Ludlow, MS at 10:00AM. Brother Geary Walton will officiate.
Mr. Trest was a lifelong resident of Ludlow, MS. He graduated from Morton High School and earned a technical certificate in sheet metal fabrication from Hinds Community College. He was Baptist by faith and a member of Ludlow Baptist Church. Mr. Trest was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He loved his dogs, Roxie and Ginger and he was a loyal MSU fan. He enjoyed drag racing and cooking, he was a crawfish specialist.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Clinton Trest.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Sandra Trest; his children, Kelli Trest (Nathan) of Clinton, MS, Allen Williamson of Brandon, MS, Tonya Staats (Ryan) of Huntsville, AL; one sister, Linda Gail Patrick (James) of Lena, MS; four grandchildren, Lance, Justin, Katie and Drew.
