Josh Turner, age 14, a resident of Lena, MS passed away on Thursday August 13, 2015 from injuries sustained in a four wheeler accident. Visitation will be held on Sunday August 16, 2015 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Visitation will be held on Monday August 17, 2015 from 9:30 AM until 9:50 AM at Clifton Baptist Church in Forest, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Monday August 17, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Clifton Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Clifton Baptist Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Jason Tillman, Rev. Kenny Lang and Tracy Rushing will deliver the Eulogy. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge arrangements.
Josh was a lifelong resident of the Clifton Community in Scott County and he was a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Forest, MS. Josh was a 9th grade student at Scott Central High School, was on the golf team and formerly played football. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
Josh is survived by his parents, Keith & Amy Turner of Lena, MS; paternal grandparents, Jerry & Shirley Turner of Forest, MS; maternal grandparents, Jerry & Sara Shows of Lena, MS; girlfriend, Ashley Hawes of Brandon, MS; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers are Tim Rushing, Jimmy Dale Brown, Jack Shows, Jerry Shows, Josh Scott and Rocky Kirby. Honorary pallbearers are Landon Cash, Tate Rushing, Landon Hardin, Reese Tillman, Kenneth Clark, Chas Michael Evans and fellow Classmates at Scott Central High School.
