Tom Ed Waggoner

Mr. Tom Ed Waggoner, age 75, a resident of Forest, MS passed away on Monday March 16, 2015 at his home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 17, 2015 from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday March 18, 2015 from 12 Noon until 1:50 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday March 18, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Burial will follow in the Ephesus Baptist Cemetery in Forest, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Paul Smith and Rev. Shelton Thomas. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Tom Ed was a lifelong resident of Scott County, MS and was a member of the Ephesus Baptist Church in Forest, MS. He worked with the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District for over 20 years. He served as Beat 5 Supervisor in Scott County from 1992-1995 and then worked part-time for the City of Forest. Mr. Tom Ed was a Mason and member of the Forest Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Tom Ed is preceded in death by his father, Barney Waggoner; one brother, Austin Waggoner. He is survived by his wife, Betty Waggoner of Forest, MS.; mother, Tommye D. Waggoner of Forest, MS; one son, Allen Butler and wife Sandy of Palestine, TX; two sisters, Brenda Kirby of Forest, MS, Hilda Crain and husband James of Forest, MS; five grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Pallbearers are Lamar Harrison, Granville Freeman, Tommy Williams, Bill Freeman, Terry Price, Willie Webb. Honorary pallbearers are Danny & Diane Burkes, Butch & Nancy Chambers, Mack & Doris Greer, Greg & Lee Ware, Jackie & Sandra Burkes.
