Brandon Clay Wallen, 39, of Mendenhall, MS passed away on September 25, 2021, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. He was born on March 6, 1982, to Ronald Dean Wallen and Rosemary Santhuff. There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Decatur City Cemetery, Decatur, MS with Bro. Richard Goggans officiating, under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
Brandon has lived in Mendenhall, MS for the past 10 years after living in Jackson, MS and Georgia. He was Non-Denominational by faith and a member of Worldwide Church of God. He was employed as an IT Support Analyst with UMMC for the past 10 years and he loved anything to do with IT work. He spent a lot of his time volunteering at his church with anything that they needed.
Brandon is preceded in death by his father, Ron Wallen. He is survived by his wife, Amanda Wallen; mother, Rosemary Nash of Bentonia, MS; one son, John “Jack” Wallen of Mendenhall, MS; one sister, Ginger Sorg of Goodhope, GA; a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be, Donald Fletcher, Benjamin Kimmons, Joseph Kosloski, Mike Sorg, Brad Stephens, and Chad Wilburn.
