Mr. Jimmy Washington age 62, passed away on Monday May 20, 2019 at his residence in Forest, MS. Visitation will be held Friday May 24, 2019 at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS from 1:00PM until 5:00PM and Saturday May 25, 2019 at Greater Holy Hill C.O.G.I.C from 12:00PM until 2:20PM. Funeral Services will be held at Greater Holy Hill C.O.G.I.C on Saturday May 25, 2019 at 2:30PM. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill M.B. Cemetery in Morton, MS. Repast to be at Greater Holy Hill C.O.G.I.C. Elder Nathaniel Henson will be officiating.

Mr. Washington was born in Morton, MS to Bill Washington and Arlene Adams. He was a resident of Forest, MS and attended Balucta Church of God in Christ in Lena, MS. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish. He also enjoyed dancing.

He was preceded in death by his two brothers Joe Washington and Johnny Washington. He is survived by his son, Jimmy Wright of Morton, MS; two daughters, La-Shunta Washington of Lena, MS and Antronette Phillips of Iowa; six sisters, Lettie Beemon of Forest, MS, Nellie Deering of Morton, MS, Mellie Anderson of Morton, MS Ilene Washington of Morton, MS, Earnestine White of Morton, MS and Susan Washington of Morton, MS; three brothers, Bill Washington of Morton, MS, Herbert Washington of Forest, MS and Curtis Washington of Morton, MS; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
