Albert W. "Billy" Watkins

Mr. Albert W. “Billy” Watkins age 74 and a resident of Newton, MS. passed away on April 15, 2014 at Bedford Care Center in Newton, MS. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 17, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Friday April 18, 2014 from 10:00 Am until 10:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 Am in the chapel of Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Ken McLemore. Burial will follow in the Ephesus Baptist Cemetery. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. will be in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Watkins had been a resident of Newton, MS since 2001, formerly living in Lawrence, MS. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved spending time with his family and watching wrestling.
Mr. Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Austin H. “Shorty” and Annie Lois Watkins, brother, Austin H. “Buddy” Watkins, Jr., sisters, Evelyn Marie Gould, Patricia Ann Rowell. He is survived by one sister, Bettye W. Dobbs of Newton, MS.; two brothers, Cecil L. “Shot” Watkins of Springfield, LA.; Travis Watkins of Lawrence, MS.; like a sister, Margaret Bailey of Newton, MS.; a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Pallbearers are Chris Nutt, Justin Chapman, Ray Dobbs, Johnny James, Kenneth Rowell, Austin Rowell.
