Charles Watkins

Mr. Charles Watkins age 68, a resident of Morton, MS. passed away on Saturday May 3, 2014 at his residence. Visitation will be held on Monday May 5, 2014 from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Tuesday May 6, 2014 from 12 Noon until 1:45 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday May 6, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Wolf Funeral Services. Burial will follow in the Morton Memorial Gardens in Morton, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Joey Smith. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS will be in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Watkins was born in Edinburg, MS. moving to Truman, AR at the age of 3, then making Morton, MS his home for 54 years.
Mr. Watkins is preceded in death by his father, Linzy Watkins. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Helen Watkins of Morton, MS.; mother Arcola Watkins of Morton, MS.; one son, Todd Watkins of Pelahatchie, MS.; one daughter, Charlice Watkins of Pelahatchie, MS.; two sisters, Sharon Withers and husband Wayne of Morton, MS.; Joy Short of Morton, MS.; one brother, Danny Watkins and wife Ann of Gulfport, MS.; three grandchildren, Justin Myers, Ethan Watkins, Ty Watkins, one great grandchild, Linzy Myers, one niece and a number of nephews.
Pallbearers will be Vince Bynum, Larry Lynn Meeks, Jim Armstrong, Jr., Mark Smith, Terry Aycock, Gary Hines. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Tucker, Joey Moore, Paul Morehead, Fred Heggins.
