Quantaria Jantich Watson, 16, a resident of Morton passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010 due to an automobile accident. A memorial service was held Friday, November 26, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Mt. Carmel M.B. Church, Morton, MS. Officiating was Rev. Perry Fletcher. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Miss Watson was a lifelong resident of Morton, MS and she was a member of Mt Carmel M.B. Church. She was a 10th grade student at Morton High School where she was a former basketball player. She enjoyed playing with kids, cooking, and talking on the phone.
She is survived by her parents, Marcie Watson and Jannis Lewis, Morton; four sisters, Demyia Lewis, Matara Robles, and Lakashia Thomas all of Morton; Marcie Watson of Canton; two brothers, Jaylin Lewis of Morton and Joshua Watson of Lake; Paternal grandmother, Mattie Pearl Watson of Morton and a number of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
