Wayne Jordan

Wayne Jordan, age 72, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at his residence in Lake, MS.  His visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 2:45 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS.  His services will take place at 3:00 PM in our Funeral Home Chapel.  His Burial will follow at Dennis Cemetery in Lake, MS.  Bro. Ken McLemore and Bro. George Heath will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services. 

Wayne was born to Hollis Milton Jordan and Exie V. Wilkerson on August 17, 1951, in Union, MS.  He lived in Scott County, MS for most of his life.  Wayne was a member of Hazel Baptist Church in Lake, MS.  He was a mechanic by trade and had worked at H and W auto Parts in Lake, MS and Old South Brick in Jackson, MS. Wayne was an avid drag racer and working on them, hunting, antique cars and spending quality time with his family. 

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Hollis and Exis Jordan; three sisters, Marie Myers, Brenda Kittrell and Carolyn Gibbs.  He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Jordan of Lake, MS; his four sons, Jody Jordan (Beth) of Lake, MS; Todd Jordan (Amber) of Lake, MS, Brent Rigdon (Carla) of Brandon, MS and Michael Rigdon (Akemie) of Ludlow, MS; one daughter, Mikki Boxx (David) of Lake, MS, his brother, Milton Jordan (Pat) of Lake, MS; his eight grandchildren, River Caldwell (Justin), Joseph Jordan, Jonathan Rigdon, Brandon Myers, Lauren Boxx, Brandon Rigdon, Ryan Myers and Baylea Rigdon.

Pallbearers will be David Boxx, Michael Kittrell, Billy Mack Kittrell, Jamie Jordan, Justin Caldwell and Tommy Harrell.

Honorary pallbearers will be JoJo Jordan, Jonathan Rigdon, Brandon Rigdon, Brandon Myers and Ryan Myers.
