Clarence "Buddy" Weaver

Mr. Clarence “Buddy” Weaver, age 86, a resident of Lena, MS passed away on Friday May 29, 2015 at his home. Visitation will be held on Sunday May 31, 2015 from 3:30 PM until Monday June 1, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Cash Baptist Church in Lena, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Monday June 1, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Cash Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Cash Baptist Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. M.L. Wallace, Rev. Jim Savell and Rev. Wayne McKee. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Weaver was a lifelong resident of the Cash Community in Scott County, MS. He was a member and active deacon of the Cash Baptist Church in Lena, MS until his health prevented him from attending church. He was a graduate of Lena High School. He loved gardening and working around the farm. He retired from the Carthage Corporation in 1990 after 34 years of service.
Mr. Weaver was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Maude Weaver; four brothers, Dale, George, Robert and K.P. Weaver. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Claudia Babb Weaver of Lena, MS; one son, Danny Weaver and wife Betty of Lena, MS; two grandchildren, Dawn McKee and husband Kevin, Joey Weaver; six great grandchildren, Bailey McKee, Drew McKee, Clay McKee, Addie Grace Weaver, Dannon Weaver and Kristopher Alford; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers are Frank Lewis, Randy Pope, Edwin Pope, Larry Moore, Joey Weaver, Kevin McKee and Tommy Gunn. Honorary pallbearers are the Men of Cash Baptist Church.
