Patricia “Pat” Weems
Patricia “Pat” Weems, 72, a resident of Forest, MS passed away Monday, July 08, 2013 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. Visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 5:30 until 8:00 pm and on Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon. Graveside services and burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Cemetery at 1:00 pm. Officiating will be Rev. Tommy Anderson and Elder George Gardner. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Weems had lived in the Piketon Community for the past fifty five years, and she was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She loved gardening and watching the Atlanta Braves and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Weems, Sr.; parents, Otis and Lottie Jones; one brother, James Jones.
She is survived by three daughters, Sonya Weems of Toomsuba, MS; Marcia Green and husband C.M. of Forest, MS; Betty Taylor and husband Donny of Forest, MS; one son, Doyle Weems and wife Barbara of Forest, MS; one sister, Betty Roe and husband Jim of Florence, MS; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.
Pallbearers will be Justin Shoemaker, Garrett Taylor, Devon Weems, Michael Jones, Greg Ware and Michael Ledlow. Honorary pallbearers will be Jordan Taylor Darsey and Kimberly Sharp.
