Loyd White

Loyd M. White, 84, a resident of Pelahatchie passed away Monday, December 26, 2011 at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital, Brandon, MS. Visitation was at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 1:30 until 2:45 pm and the funeral service was at 3:00 pm in the chapel. Burial will be in Crossroads Baptist Cemetery. Officiating was Rev. Joey Lang and Rev. Austin Griffin. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. White had lived in Pelahatchie, MS for past fifty four years, moving from Jackson, MS and he was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid farmer who raised his vegetables for the public.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Louise White in 2001.
He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Kay Havard and husband Andy of Forest, MS; one step-daughter and two step-sons; one brother Harold D. White of New Hebron, MS; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers were Sean Adcox, Linn Davis, and Sam Means.
