Billie Harrell, age 81, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Her visitation will be held Friday, March 22, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM and Saturday March 23, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 1:50 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Her services will take place in our funeral home chapel at 2:00 PM. Her burial will follow at New Liberty Baptist Cemetery in Morton, MS. Bro. Paul Smith will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral services. 

Billie was born on March 10, 1943, to Bryan and Ruth Irby in Morton, MS. She had lived most of her life in Rankin County, MS. Billie was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church in Morton, MS. She was a 1961 graduate of Pelahatchie High School and then went to Hinds Jr. College. After college she started her career in the insurance business, working at The Insurance Mart at the time of her death. She loved flower gardening. 

Billie is preceded in death by her first husband, Jimmy McKinney; her second husband, Lamar Harrell; her parents, Byran and Ruth Irby Daniel; her son, Robby McKinney; her sister, Barbara Robbins; her brother, Michael Daniel; her four brothers-in-law, George Alvin Willey III, Tommy Robbins, John Baker and James McKinney. She is survived by her daughter, Tracy McKinney Cannon of Morton, MS; her two step sons, Eddie Harrell (Marsha) of Lena, MS, and Tommy Harrell (Becky) of Lena, MS; one step daughter, Gail Harrell of Louisville, MS; three sisters, Jo Wells (Al) of Brandon, MS, Kay Willey Baker of Sandhill, MS and Beth Betzing (Jim) of Tupelo, MS; her beloved grandson, Robby Cannon; her five step granddaughters; her nieces and nephews, Kristi Robbins Everette (Ricky), Bill Robbins (Sherri), Kari Robbins Cross (Shane), Tori Wells Liberto (Keith), Claire Wells Hogue (Mike), Alvin Willey (Amanda), Erin Betzing Kester (Len) and Lauren Betzing Robbins (Dustin); six great nieces, Kinsley, Josie, Mattie, Emily, Sofia and Mikayala; and three great nephews, Austin, Med and Cade.

Pallbearers will be Alvin Willey, Shane Cross, Bill Robbins, Brian Edwards, Ricky Everette and Robby Cannon.
