Willie Glenn Watkins

Willie Glen Watkins, age 84, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Mississippi Care Center in Morton, MS. His visitation will be on Thursday, October 16, 2024, from 9:00 AM until 9:45 AM at Wolf Funeral Services. His services will take place in our Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 AM. His burial will follow at Evans Tabernacle Cemetery in Union, MS. 

Willie was born on March 9, 1940, to Otho Watkins and Neomia Wilkerson in Union, MS. He had lived in Morton, MS since 1987 and was a member of Jesus Name Church in Morton, MS. Willie loved being with his family and taking care of them. 

Willie is preceded in death by his wife, Louise Watkins, his parents, Otho and Neomia Watkins, his three sons, Jeffery Watkins, Robert Watkins and James Burke, one daughter, Marie Rios and a number of brothers and sisters. He is survived by his two daughters, Debra Watkins of Douglas, GA and Leetha Sampley of Morton, MS; his three sons, Michael Watkins of Nicholls, GA, John Burke of Quitman, MS and Michael Burke of Huntsville, AL and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. 

Pallbearers will be Randall Goss, John Goss, Taylor Kyzar, Otho Watkins, Alex Watkins and Christopher Kyzar.
